Post-processing example

It is possible to do some simple post-processing and here is a page that shows what can be achieved. This example also demonstrates how the JCP offices are dereferenced and how they can mashed up with Google static maps along with thier contact details.

If you want me to prepare a page-stream similar to the above which you can just slot into your website daily, then get in touch on twitter @paulgeraghty or email me directly using the name foofoonet and my provider is gmail.com (so put the @ in the right place, yeah?)

If you create anything from the JobsGoLocal API, then let me know and I will promote it from this page.

Councilsites, websites for Town Councils

Taking streams of data which other people create and maintain, and formatting it so it matches your website. Is that the kind of low-risk, low-maintenance, low-cost strategy your hard pressed Town Council should be pressing into duty?

If you work for or represent a Town (or very large Parish) Council and you want a website which allows you to similarly re-use open data such as provided by JobsGoLocal then visit councilsites.co.uk or contact me direct as shown above.

If you cannot use this data, then please at least blog or tweet about it. @paulgeraghty
